The fully automatic Sea Marshall® SMRS8-LR ‘SOS’ Man Over Board Alerting Unit provides essential safety cover to all mariners.

The SMRS8-LR ‘SOS’ Man Over Board Rescue Beacon can be discreetly worn around the neck or in a lifejacket, providing 24/7 protection to all crew on deck in the event of a man over board situation.

Should a crew member fall over board their Alerting Unit will automatically transmit an ‘SOS’ distress signal within 15 seconds.

Radio / Light signal after approximately 15 seconds immersion.

Can be either picked up by a Base Unit with Locating Function on the boat (SARfinder® 1003) or by
the local SAR authorities.
