The Sea Marshall ® man over board locator beacon technology is the first localized man overboard rescue system that notifies (through a standard 121.5 MHz) the crew within 15 seconds that a man over board (MOB) is in process.

The Locator Beacon self activates 15 seconds after immersion into the water and begins transmitting a signal which can be picked up by an onboard receiver to allow the crew to organize an immediate recovery of the MOB or if necessary to call upon the Search & Rescue teams to take over the operation.
